This was the top bunk of a triple bed frame. We no longer need it, and the height is a bit awkward to use as a bed by itself. The product page doesn't specify what type of metal it is, but it does say that the metal is "powder coated" to be rust resistant. The slats all come apart (just attached with a bolt on either end) so I imagine someone could make something else with these pieces.
