These are a fabulous alternative to chains for winter driving.
New, one set cost $500+tax, shipping....we are selling two sets (one is missing a few pieces) for $200!
***Please read this entire ad. I took a lot of time to organize the info on these to help a buyer make an educated decision***
These two sets are for passenger vehicles or vans rated to midsize only:
(1)One set is complete. It's the grey set in the photos. This set was never used. Looks like new with scuffs from storage.
(2) The other set (the black ones in the photos) are heavily used and missing 5 traction arms. Replacement arms are $19 each and all replacement Spikes Spider parts are still available on their website.
The scoop:
Driving speed: Max 50 kh/hr or 30 mph
Provide traction in up to 5 inches of snow!
If you know what you are doing, these "chains" install in 30 seconds.
On average, the Compact's fit a 15" wheel. These are the 9 arm models of the Compact so I think they are the C3's.
Instruction and owners manual included as well. Storage bags are also included but the zippers are broken.
Adapter plate kit also included. Selling the two sets together. The parts are interchangeable. Buyer could purchase new parts for the black pair and have "chains" for two vehicles or keep the black pair for future parts.
