Skilled Carpenter (5 years Minimum Experience)
Alexei Ford Design Build is seeking a Skilled Carpenter to join our residential construction team in Bellingham, WA. We are a custom residential design-build company focused on high-quality remodels, additions, and custom home projects throughout Whatcom County and surrounding areas.
Skills and assets that we are looking for in an ideal applicant:
-Five years of carpentry experience
-Experience with all construction tools
-Basic tools that he/she can bring to work
-Comfortable communicating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and staff
-Trustworthy, dependable and punctual
-Able to work well individually, or with a team
-Ambitious and self-motivated
-Excited to learn new skills
-Detail oriented and take pride in your craft
-Able to carry 75 lbs
-Able to use hand and power tools while on ladder/scaffolding
-Able to work in all weather conditions
-Pay attention to, and have knowledge of safety and preparedness procedures
-Maintain a professional appearance
-Have a valid driver's license and a reliable work vehicle
Compensation:
Competitive Pay - DOE
Employer sponsored health plans available.
Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30-5:00 (36 hour work week) - (variable in December and January)
Flexibility with appointments, recreation, or family obligations.
Paid holidays.
