Alexei Ford Design Build is a Bellingham-based custom design-build firm with over 30 years of experience delivering thoughtfully crafted homes, remodels, and residential projects. Our work is rooted in quality, collaboration, and a commitment to doing things the right way—from concept through completion.
As a skilled Project Manager, you bring a collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to guide complex residential projects with clarity, precision, and professionalism. You will be working alongside other talented individuals during your work week. We work Monday through Thursday, so Friday is a day that we hope you can use for rest and relaxation in the beautiful PNW.
What You’ll Do
- Provide full-cycle project oversight aligned with our design-build methodology
- Partner with the Sr. Project Manager on estimating, budgeting, and scope development
- Lead coordination between clients, designers, field teams, and subcontractors
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and clear communication throughout
- Apply company systems and best practices to ensure consistency and quality
- Utilize tools including JobTread, MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook, Google Drive, and ChatGPT
- Deliver professional client updates and maintain accurate reporting

What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of proven residential and/or light commercial project management experience
- Demonstrated leadership in delivering high-quality construction projects
- Strong capabilities in estimating, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects with consistency
- Comfortable working between office and field environments
- Located within 30 minutes of Bellingham, WA
