We are a mellow, interesting, respectful, relatively diverse group of artists, journalists, gardeners, musicians, luthiers, and so forth, mid 20s to early-70s, living in a charming Victorian-style home surrounded by extensive gardens.
We're seeking someone who is interested to make a long(ish)-term commitment to living here -- on the order of one year or more.
Besides being a generally groovy place to live, the house includes such tantalizing amenities as: washer, dryer, high-speed internet, convenient bus access, proximity to a biking trail, etc. No smoking of anything in the house.
Bike-friendly. Alternative-diet-friendly. Friendliness-friendly. We are seeking people that enjoy living in community, and approach it with intention and care, as opposed to seeking only cheap rent.
We love animals, but we do have a strict no-pet policy here. That applies to dogs, cats, birds, and most reptiles. Little fuzzy mammals could possibly be negotiated; otherwise, no need to send us a cute picture and tell us how well-behaved your dog/cat is. :-)
