Clean, well lit room in large, friendly home. The room measures 20' x 10', with the closet measuring 5' x 2'
Lovely afternoon sun fills the room with the window facing the street. There's a lock on the door knob with only one key- yours :) Very useful ceiling fan to beat Summer heat (additional fans available if needed). The room is on the 3rd floor of the house, across from the shared full bathroom and next door to the laundry room with washer and dryer.
Our home is within walking distance of down town. We also have a city bus stop right in front of our house with 3+ stops Very close by. Whatcom Falls trails can be followed right from our spacious backyard with large deck. Gardeners welcome to dig around, but only for fun! Yard upkeep is not required. Our household is comprised of myself, (I live in the mother-in-law on the bottom floor) and 2 other tenants on the third floor. We're very friendly, but mainly do our own thing. We always find time to frequently check in with each other to touch base on any house issues or just to see how everybody is doing (either with the house group text on the go or sometimes a group dinner and movie night if it strikes the fancy? ;) But only if you're comfortable!). This home is truly a dream spot for introverts! The common areas include 1 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen with all major appliances and most small appliances, laundry room, reading room and living room.
We are looking for a quiet, clean, respectful, and assertive housemate able to commit to 9 month lease, with possibility for longer. We need a good, clear communicator that is comfortable speaking up and not sitting on pet peeves or any issues, allowing resentment to grow, creating a toxic living situation. We are very good problem solvers and want to live in a happy, harmonious home. Let us know if you think you're a good fit :)
