Hank is Fairhaven Storage's Night Patrol Officer. He has worked the night shift since the facility opened. He has never once requested a day shift. We asked him about this once. He turned his head 180 degrees and looked at us for a very long time. We did not ask again.
Hank sees everything in complete darkness. Motion sensors, security cameras, perimeter fencing — these are backups. Hank is the primary system. If something moves on this property after dark, Hank knows about it before the cameras do. He prefers not to discuss what he has seen. We have learned not to ask.
Ricky is afraid of Hank. This is considered healthy.
