This 5x telephoto zoom had one of the longest production runs of any Adaptall lens, from 1983 to 2000. It has been referred to as a "swiss army knife" of a lens due to it's versatility. With its wide zoom range, this lens is well suited for environmental portrait, landscape and wildlife photography. Its aperture range, from f/2.5-32 further complements these types of photography. It is known to be sharp with good degree of contrast partly due to its multi-coating.

This lens is in mint condition. The push-pull zoom and focus action is silky smooth. The aperture ring is clicky, not tight. Due to the Adaptall design of this line of lenses, this lens can be easily and cheaply adapted to different models of camera. This lens is set to mate with the Nikon F mount. There is no sign of internal dust nor fungus. The blades are clean without oil.
