WHO WE ARE
MustLuvBoxers Rescue Is 100% Volunteer Based.
Many rescue organizations use boarding facilities for the dogs they've pulled from shelters, often because foster homes / families are so hard to come by.
We want our dogs to experience the socialization, individualized care, love and attention that a foster can provide. While boarding may be a better alternative to the shelter, we feel these babies need the interaction only a foster family can provide.
FOSTERING - HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your home becomes a safe haven and a transitional stop on the way to finding the best home possible for one of our boxers. Some dogs will only stay in your home for two or three weeks. Others may require a longer stay, possibly as long as three to six months.
Some of our dogs are owner surrendered, some have been neglected and/or abused, some might have behavioral and/or medical issues.
We want to set all of our dogs and potential families up for success. We do that by visiting with you at your home and working with your family, so we can find the best foster dog for you. It's not One Size Fits All!
All medical needs are provided at MustLuvBoxer Rescue's expense, including, but not limited to, vaccinations and spaying or neutering. Assistance with food or other supplies may be provided as well.
If you're interested, please fill out a foster application.
Please allow up to 48 hours for a response.
We're always looking for enthusiastic dog lovers who can help us in a variety of roles, such as graphic design, social media, home checks, dog evaluations, transportation, etc.
If you have some spare time and would like to help us, we would love to see your volunteer application.
Your willingness to volunteer is what makes a difference and creates the pawsability of life, health and happiness, one boxer at a time.
