Thoughtful Rehoming – Blue (Young, Smart, High-Energy Pup) (Bellingham)

Blue was raised in an outdoor kennel prior to adoption, so she started nearly from scratch with socialization, house training, leash walking, and basic handling. In a short time, she has made incredible progress. She is now:
- Spayed
- Microchipped
- Fully up to date on vaccines
- House trained (with occasional puppy accidents)
- Comfortable with baths, nail trims, and handling
- Learning basic commands like sit and improving daily on leash
Blue is extremely smart, high-energy, and very affectionate, with soft fur and a gentle, sweet nature. She loves being trained and mentally challenged and would thrive with someone excited to continue that work.
Because of her energy level, Blue needs:
- A home committed to daily exercise and training
- Structure, enrichment, and consistency
- Someone who understands that young, intelligent dogs need both mental and physical outlets
When under-exercised, she can act out in typical puppy ways (chewing shoes, barking, etc.), but with proper stimulation she shines. She does well with other dogs and enjoys daily dog park visits. However, she is overly interested in our cat, which is why we are seeking a different home environment for her.
Blue is a wonderful dog in the making and will be an amazing companion for the right person or family willing to invest the time and energy she deserves. She has one blue eye and one brown and is healthy and athletic. She is very happy at the dog park.
We are asking a $250 rehoming fee to ensure a serious, committed placement.
