The Lighthouse Mission is looking for a full-time weekday case manager for the Agape Home, a women and children's shelter, a ministry of the Lighthouse Mission.
Main Purpose of Job: Case managers help maintain a safe, secure, clean and sober environment for women and children residing at the Agape Home. Case managers respond to emergencies, offer emotional and spiritual support to guests, provide case management, interview shelter applicants, do house meetings, lead devotionals and facilitate classes as needed. The weekday case manager maintains a larger case load and coordinates the intake of guests.
Qualifications: An A.A. or Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred. A passion for serving Jesus and making the Gospel known through mercy ministry. Have knowledge of and preferably experience with issues of homelessness, poverty, addiction, domestic violence and recovery. Ability to remain calm and calm others in an emergency and/or confrontational situations. Ability to interact effectively as a team member and independently with LMM staff and with a diverse client base. Effective interpersonal communication skills--both written and oral--for communication with children, parents, co-workers and outside agencies. Experience doing case management strongly preferred. Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Calendar, Gmail and Access.

Hours: 8am-4pm Monday -Friday, 40 hours/weekly.
