I'm just a vocalist who woke up with bells palsy a few weeks ago and can't do half of what he was able to, can't even whistle anymore but I'm still a musician. I make music, can't help it.
I'm looking for other musicians to jam with and maybe form a band. I don't care your age or instrument. Don't care your perceived skill level or appearance. If music pours from you I'll find a space. Let's make something that people will look back on in wonder.
Don't worry about genra. Its expression. It's poetry. Don't just write prose or haiku and don't think you're stuck doing the one thing just because people liked it. The best musicians with the most longevity reinvent themselves regularly.
I make music. I don't care if it's country or classical. I do a damn fine Danzig and a better Sinatra. Even with half of my face out of order.
I don't want to write your music. I may recommend a note change like "the fourth impulse after the brake should go up not down" or some such but if you disagree I'm not going to argue. Maybe ask you to try it my way just one time but that's as far as I see it going.
I'm open to highly experimental music. I think coroners could have a huge resurgence and believe more metal music needs distorted accordion or concertina. As long as we fall somewhere between King Missile and King Crimson I think we'll be okay.
My big thing is that preforming music is a performance all the same. So be able to put on a show right? Also if you want to record then be willing to set the peace in stone beacuse once it's recorded thats the way it is and any change is going to come off as a mistake. So if you going to perform something that you recorded already be ready to produce album quality in your performance. That's the most I ask of anyone and it applies to evreything. If you chosen to do a job and signed up to do that job then be ready to do that job.
As long as that's cool then we can record and publish without ever performing or preform and publish without ever recording, we can do all three concurrent or consecutive, but we can't record and preform without publishing. Publishing is compulsory. They're all publishing, you'll see...
(I wonder if anyone will get the reference?)
If you make music, I make music, let's make music. I'm sovos. Hit me up.
