Morgan Amplification RCA35R Custom Shop USA handmade 35W guitar Amplifier with Spring Reverb. This amp is in exceptional condition, and you would be hard pressed to tell it from brand new. No dings, scuffs or scratches anywhere. It comes with the matching M212V vertical twin cabinet, which has Celestion Cream Back Speakers installed. Additionally, I have a custom set of double padded Studio Slips Amp and Speaker covers which provide excellent protection while transporting to and from band practice. Never gigged only used for home practice and at band practice with my Garage Band. New the head was $2300, the Speaker Cabinet $1300 and the custom-made speaker covers were $500. $4100 total. It's the best amp I have ever owned but due to a degenerative back condition, I can no longer transport it to my weekly band practice and need to move to a smaller combo amp instead. This does clean, crunchy and dirty depending how you adjust the tone and gain controls. It offers extreme flexibility in the choice of power tubes. From the manufacturers website below.

The Morgan RCA35R starts with the circuit from the RCA35 and then adds three spring tube driven reverb. The Morgan RCA35R was designed around a special output transformer that is equally happy with 6L6s or 6V6s or EL34s or KT66s or KT77s or 6CA7s. The RCA35’s unique design allows any of these tubes to be swapped in. Simply choose a matched pair and just plug and play. The Cathode Bias design allows you to swap power tubes without the need for rebiasing.

The RCA35R has a black face style tone stack. The Bass, Mid, and Treb controls give you a wide range of tones. Do not be afraid to use extreme settings on the tone controls, they are designed to give you the most dramatic swings available to allow you to go from clean and glassy like an EL84 class A amp to thick and grindy like the best plexi you have ever heard. The RCA35R reverb is also run parallel to the original tone stack. This means when the reverb is not being used it is totally out of the circuit unlike most other guitar amp reverbs.

The Midrange control on this amp is special. It is designed to behave normally until about the 9 o’clock position on dial, from that point on you will be adding gain along with your midrange giving you a completely different feel and growl.

The Master volume on this amp is similar to the ones used in The SW series of Morgan Amps. Once the master volume is over the 2 o’clock position it will start adding gain to the power section of the amp.

This amp is a Swiss Army knife. With the ability to swap output tubes at will and the extreme tone controls it is a perfect for the studio or the guitar player that likes to change his rig every week.

Handwired in the USA.
