Full disclosure, the meter on the front will go up about halfway and stick there. I've always trusted the metering in my DAW as being accurate for getting levels so it isn't a major issue by any means. Everything else works as it should.
The mic pre includes a DI for guitar or bass, a Line in switch, 48v phantom power for condenser mics, a 5 way impedance switch and a saturation knob (this is subtle but adds a bit of harmonic distortion).
See the photos, there is a full featured compressor and a 3 band fully parametric EQ, a fantastic set of tools for any and everything you might want to tweak. Add in the insert - Send/Return in the back and you've got it all.
