condition: good
make / manufacturer: Ibanez
model name / number: RG RG2550MZA Prestige
This is a Japan exclusive Ibanez, meaning they weren't sold anywhere else in the world but Japan. I bought/imported it from Japan and it's in very good shape with only a few blemishes and has been refretted with jumbo stainless steel frets (Jescar 57110S). The color is a pearlescent white (not yellowed) that's hard to capture on camera, not just a standard white.

The bad: it's got the infamous Ibanez neck pocket clear coat crack that pretty much all RGs have or will have in the future, has a touched up chip on the lower horn and a small impression on the belly carve on the back. All of which are pictured and circled.

The great: brand new jumbo stainless steel frets done to perfection with no sharp ends, no high frets, super smooth bends and a perfect mirror shine. These frets will last an eternity and will likely never need to be worked on or polished ever again. It's a perfect player that needs absolutely nothing for playability. Bonus points for being a Japan exclusive as well as you'll probably never find another one for sale in the states or run into someone with the same guitar. It's currently setup with 9-42 strings in Drop D with the strings sitting at just above 1mm at the 12th fret on the low side and 1mm at the 12th fret on the high side. This one also differs from the others in the 2550 series by having the proper Dimarzio Air Norton set instead of the Dimarzio/IBZ pickups

Comes with the original hardshell case and for the asking price, I can set it up in whatever tuning, string gauge and string height preference the buyer desires. Text/email with any questions
