The instrument is a bold and assertive Guarnerius model violin that was made in Germany (likely early 20th century). It consists of solid craftsmanship and selected tone woods that show off a gorgeous two-piece maple back plate that is moderately flamed. The instrument is in excellent playing condition and sounds beautiful. The sound is mature and clear. The tone is full and resonant, with overtones which make the tone warm and appealing. A player will fall in love with the sound and look of this instrument.
