Classic 1970 SL 100 Motosport. Designed for riding on or off road. This is a capable Scrambler type you can ride to the trails instead of hauling it on a trailer. I rode one of these across the North Cascades Highway back in 1973 and also on many trails and logging roads.

I have owned this particular one since 2014 and have only ridden it on the road since then. It has been stored in the garage and I ride it every summer enough to keep the gas fresh and everything working. I change the oil every year. There are no "easy fixes" to it. I just put a new carburetor on it, and installed a new battery.

The bike has 3,316 miles and runs as it should. You can ride it today or restore it for show. It is licensed as a classic. Production years for the 100's were from 1970 to 1973. This one is a rare find these day's and a compliment to anyone's collection. It gets a lot of attention whenever I ride it to town.

As is, it is not completely original. I installed turn signals, which are not stock. I also put a rack on it, but both of these could easily by removed. Tires are original. One of the tabs on left side cover is missing, but I replaced the grommets that are the root cause of so many of these breaking off.

Some parts have been been repainted with Dupli-color Dark Emerald Green, which is the equivalent to original, but less expensive. For a true restoration you would want to use the original Candy Apple Green (WGB659238-23.25).

I have done a market comparison, and set the asking price to be very reasonable. Be serious and do your research.
Bike will come with the shop manual and extra engine as shown in the pictures. I also have a few miscellaneous pieces and a case of the 6-volt light bulbs if you would like to leave the turn signals on it.

I have a clear title in my name. Reply via CL and I will get back to you to arrange a showing. No idle joy rides, but I am happy to answer all your questions.
I will not hold it longer than it takes for you to arrive at my place from where ever you are.

I will remove the posting when it is sold.
Thanks for your interest.
