Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in Bellingham is hiring a Temporary Production Assistant for the day shift with a well-known company in Ferndale! This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on manufacturing experience, earn extra income, and work in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn. Previous warehouse, production, or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. This is a temporary summer project with the potential to become a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Position Type: Temporary summer project, could go long-term for the right fit.
Location: Ferndale, WA
Job Duties & Responsibilities include:
-Operate basic production machinery within standard operating procedures, follow all safety procedures and requirements, adhere to product construction, and maintain a clean work area.
-Light material handling, maintain and transport material supply, adhering to just-in-time manufacturing principles.
-Prepare machines by loading and offloading materials.
-Package products properly.
-Engage in general housekeeping, ensuring the surrounding work area is clean and free of safety hazards.
-Equipment cleaning and light work area maintenance.
-Able to lift 10-25lbs frequently and 25-50lbs occasionally.
