I tried to take the snapback off to put a new battery in, but I was not able to get it off, and unfortunately I scratched up the back in trying to get it off. I can say that the last time I used it, it was working fine, I think it just needs a new battery (standard 1.55V silver oxide button cell battery, 377 (SR626SW). There is a tiny worn spot on the left side of the case, shown in the last photo.
If you have the skill to get the back off to replace the battery, you will have yourself a real pretty little vintage watch.
