Enrollment Eligibility Specialist, - Bellingham, WA
The Enrollment Eligibility Specialist will be the first point of contact for member eligibility changes coming from client HR departments. Under the general direction and daily supervision of the Operations Director and Client Accounts Manager, the Enrollment Eligibility Specialist will work within a team to handle all aspects of insurance eligibility communications and tasks via phone, fax, web, or other methods. The associate will primarily handle account setup across multiple eligibility database platforms. The ideal candidate will have a critical eye in auditing for accuracy, the ability to be a team player and the willingness and capability to perform as a leader. The associate will interact with our clients and members in all aspects of plan eligibility.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience in healthcare is preferred
Bi-lingual Spanish is highly preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills; must have a positive and upbeat attitude.
Must have excellent computer skills and be able to navigate windows and database systems efficiently.
Must be a hard worker, self-starter and problem solver
Demonstrated excellence in organization and time management skills; be able to perform multiple tasks.
Exceptional phone and customer service skills.
Must be able to function well in a team environment.
7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (M-F)
40 Hours per week
