NIB Spode Christmas Tree Revere Bowl Friends Are the Best Presents - $25 (Bellingham/Geneva area)

This is a Spode Christmas Tree Revere Bowl that is new in box and is in excellent unused condition. It comes
in its original box, which is undamaged. It measures approximately 2 1/2" tall and 6-1/8" in diameter. The
inside of the bowl features the Spode Christmas tree and the inscription "Friends Are the Best Presents". The
outside of the bowl is encircled by sprigs of holly and mistletoe and has the Spode Christmas Tree in the middle.
Spode Christmas Tree items feature a festive pattern designed in 1938 by Harold Holdway, a young Spode designer.
Though Holdway had never trimmed a tree himself, he managed to design the perfect Christmas tree complete with
wrapped gifts and the well-known St. Nicholas topper. Christmas Tree dinnerware was an instant hit and continues to
be popular today.
