I'm just one tenant, a senior living on social security and a small retirement check. I enjoy animals but have no pets, don't do any drugs, don't smoke or drink. I had good credit for 30 years, but now I'm in collections (just under $1500). A previous property mgmt. co. didn't clean or paint (it hadn't been painted in years) or keep their property nonsmoking as they bragged about on their website. When I moved out, leaving it clean, no marks on the walls from me, no damage, they charged me for cleaning, painting and smoking in the unit (I haven't smoked anything anywhere for 30 years). I'd like to find a landlady willing to give me a chance to rent. I will pay on time, keep the rules, no damage, and continue to not smoke. Looking for a one story or top floor one bedroom apt. or big studio that's quiet, where the neighbors don't smoke. MH, ADU or RV trailer in good condition also a possibility. I'm looking for ongoing, but if you have a rental for a few months, maybe that could work. Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish, King. What do you have for rent, and what is the rental amount?
