We're selling our mixed Katahdin / St. Croix breeding ram named "Crouton". He was born in Winter of 2022 and has been on pasture since with supplemental local hay in the winter. He's a real big boy and fathered six healthy lambs this past April from our three ewes. We're thinning out the flock and are selling our ram to introduce new genetics next year. He'd make a great breeding ram and would also produce a good amount of meat if desired. He's always been friendly but has taken to head butting pretty consistently over the past handful of months with a few bruises to show for it. I am strategic around him and would advise against children being around him unattended.

This ram is not registered. I support the proven science and demonstrated risk reduction of vaccines and consequently Crouton has been vaccinated against "CDT" (Clostridium perfringens type C + D and tetanus.). Crouton is likely not the ram for you if you're anti-vaccine. Our flock has been a "closed flock" (no outsiders) since June of 2022.
