Sweet T's Bees is now offering both over wintered nucs as well as 2026 nucs. The over wintered nucs should be ready for pickup on or around mid-April (weather dependent). There will be two breeds to choose from: New World Carni or Steven Coy Russian queens. Both are great options which is why I offer them. My personal favorite is the Russian queens. They come from Steven Coy who is apart of the Russian honeybee breeding program. They are chosen and have to exhibit 2 traits in order to be apart of the program: mite resistance and honey production.
The 2026 nucs will have the exact same options as above except they won't be ready until around mid May. I guarantee the queens will be proven layers and productive before releasing them for sale. All nucs will contain 3 frames of assorted brood as well as 2 frames of food. The price of the 2026 Nucs will be $210.
