We've had a lot of fun raising and hatching emus. All three have been hand raised by us making them more tame than an emu raised by its parents. The male gets protective of the females during the winter egg laying season, otherwise they're manageable. Last year we successfully hatched 12 babies pictured in this ad for reference. Fencing needs to be 6ft high. Females should be separated when they start laying eggs in November. We're expecting 60 eggs this year between the two fully sexually mature females. Baby Emus sell for $200.
