Was advertised as walnut but i think that was the color finish used.. It has walnut in it though, also western red cedar, acacia and/or box elder. Hard to tell some of them but its a solid wood block 💯
It was well used when I bought it, I sanded off the marks and stains from usage and refinished with 3 coats of polyurethane so now its as good as new.
Legs are strong.
