Job Title: Pastry Baker
To prepare and produce Iron Rooster Bakery's product range each day, using fresh ingredients, ensuring a consistently excellent standard of quality as regards preparation, baking and decoration, while working effectively and efficiently to meet production targets and schedules for stocking and replenishing the shop counter.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Current Washington State Food Workers Card is required.
Consistent attendance and punctuality.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail in product quality and consistency.
Must work quickly, efficiently and execute tasks in timely manner.
Willing and able to follow the directions of supervisors.
Previous experience with pastry baking and general knowledge of viennoiserie is a plus.
Available to work flexible hours include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Team player with the ability and willingness to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues at all levels.
Ability to perform a job that involves constant standing and walking, frequent bending and lifting.
Must regularly able to lift up to 50 pounds.
