Since 2015, the Filling Station has given our area some of the best eats, craft cocktails, beers, and service in town while supporting local farmers and fishers. With NW pasture-raised grass-fed beef, wild-caught Alaskan salmon and cod, free-range hens, and house-made grain bowls, we serve up scratch-made quality food in a fun, friendly atmosphere that is uniquely us. We’ve added to our original Fairhaven location with another in the Sunnyland location and our 2 sister companies "The Riviera" at Waypoint Park and Stemma West.
The Filling Station is looking to hire a Part time or Full time line cooks for our Sunnyland location. We are open from 11am - 9pm and have an assortment of shifts available in 5 to 8 hour increments throughout the day but mostly evenings. We operate seven days a week, so weekend availability is a plus.
We have a fast paced kitchen environment and work together as a team. Working well with other employees is a must! We are looking for someone that communicates well with both Front of house and Back of house staff and can stay cool under pressure. Applicants should be able to take direction well, execute tasks in a timely manner, have an eye for detail, and exhibit consistency in both their product and attendance. Applicants must be cooperative and willing to accept other kitchen and restaurant duties if necessary.
Duties may include but are not limited to...
Cooking on Line, prepping food for next shift/day, dishes, stocking supplies, cleaning of kitchen area
Minimum 2 year of kitchen experience required. Must have a valid Washington State Food Handlers card. Serve Safe Certification is a plus.
*** Compensation ***
The Filling Station offers a hourly wage is $19.13-21 (DOE). Employee discount, great tip pool (about $6/hour) and benefits (health, dental, and vision) to Full Time employees.
