Bellewood Farms is Whatcom County’s favorite retail destination with delicious cafe food, award-winning distillery spirits, a local gift shop, and fun farm events. We’re looking for an individual who can help us keep our fresh image by caring for our facilities. Our core values are humility, innovation, and excellence, so if you love facilities work and support those values, Bellewood might be the right place for you.
Our unique part-time position includes custodial work, groundskeeping, and facility assignments.
-Custodial: clean floors, refresh trash, break down boxes, clean mats, scrub floors, refresh bathrooms, pressure wash, order materials, and manage our contracted weekly cleaners
-Groundskeeping: mow the grass, care for planters, apply ice melt on walks, shovel snow, and manage our contracted weekly landscapers.
-Facilities: Fix or install small projects, set up tables/chairs for events, coordinate with outside services, order materials, and keep tools and equipment organized.
We’re somewhat flexible on hours. At least 20 hours a week. And in our busy season, Sep-Oct, we would require 30+ hours with a little work on Sat & Sun. More hours may be available for a person with more handyman skills. The position requires occasional heavy lifting.
