The Franklin Academy is seeking an Elementary School teacher for family leave coverage anticipated for the Spring of the 2025–2026 school year.
Our family leave substitute teacher plays a vital role in maintaining continuity and excellence in instruction during extended teacher absences. These educators bring experience, creativity, and a strong commitment to fostering student learning and growth.
Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate is an experienced, versatile, and certified elementary educator who:
Participate in school events and community activities that support our program.
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
State teaching certification or licensure (if applicable)
Proven experience in teaching at the lower school or middle school level
Strong knowledge of subject matter content, instructional strategies, and educational technology
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development

Compensation and Benefits: Salary is pro-rated for the remainder of the school year, based on the prorated teacher salary scale of $50,507–$81,457, commensurate with experience, education, and certification.
