Build:
Havelock wool insulation walls and ceiling, reflectex vapor barrier, 1” rigid foam board under floor.
25 gallon water tank. NOTE: pump froze at some point and check valve has a slow leak, so pump kicks on every few minutes to maintain pressure. We just switch it off when we aren’t using it.
100 watt solar panel, also converter so 120 Ah house battery is charged whenever vehicle runs. NOTE: needs a new house battery.
Inverter for AC loads
Dometic DC fridge. NOTE: old house battery too weak to run fridge, battery needs to be replaced.
Falken Wildpeak tires. NOTE: these are nearing end of life.
No auxiliary heater.
Front seats swivel 360.
Two burner propane stove. We fuel via small green tanks, refilled from 5 gallon tank at home.
Bed converts into an L couch to maximize interior space. This design works great for hanging out on rainy days, etc.
Bed is long, designed for tall people.
Bed/couch system is elevated off floor such that 4x8 sheets of plywood may be loaded into back of van on floor. ~7” stack can be loaded before encountering bed structure. This has been incredibly useful- the van is a sleeper truck. Up to 12 ft long lumber can also be loaded.
Backup camera is cutting in and out.
