For sale is my 2002 BMW Z3 3.0i with the 5-Speed and M-Sport package. I have owned the car since 2016 and have driven almost 11,000 miles on the car. The exterior paint color is “Black Sapphire Metallic” and the interior seats and parts of door panels are “Lotus White”. Interior trim is machined aluminum from the factory rather than the more-common and questionably-aesthetic wood which is on most of these. I’m coming up on 72,000 miles on the car. The car has always been stored in heated storage and has not seen rain since I purchased it.

Service records date back to 2016 and are available to the next owner. Below are highlights of maintenance completed:

07/01/2016 / 60,559 miles - New wiper blades, antenna grommet, intake air boot mass meter, brake flush, fuel filter replacement, power steering hose replacement, power steering system flush, and new air filter.

10/05/2016 / 64,028 miles - Oil change

07/12/2018 / 64,969 miles - New Michelin Pilot SS’ and alignment

05/09/2019 / 66,088 miles - Oil change, read discs, pads, and pad sensors, and driver-side window regulator

09/21/2020 / 68,215 miles - Oil change

07/06/2021 / 68,755 miles - Oil change, brake fluid flush, valve cover gasket, and spark plugs

03/19/2022 - New Optima Yellowtop DH6

08/21/2023 / 70,375 miles - Oil change, brake fluid flush

Additionally, the car has an aftermarket Momo shift knob, Alpine Bluetooth-enabled CD/radio head unit, yellow Hella fog light bulbs, and Cocomat driver and passenger-side floor mats. The rest of the car is factory original or OEM replacement.

The car is in great shape and is a blast to drive. The 3.0L I6 has a wonderful power band, and the combination of manual transmission and equal levels of exhaust and intake noise will make you lament BMW’s switch to forced-induction engines. This motor is one of the great ones of all time.

I am selling because I bought a home with a one-car garage in late 2021 so now the car lives in offsite heated storage for about 8 months out of the year. It is time to downsize the fleet until future living arrangements allow for safe storage of a toy car.

Feel free to reach out with any questions you have or if you’d like to schedule a time to see it in person.
