This car is a unicorn. And, it's a cream puff.
Not a regular Miata. The MX-5 is known as the 'Mazdaspeed'.
It is a rare vehicle and there were only 1,000 of them imported into North America in 2004.

Produced by Mazda's performance division this car has a forced induction turbocharger with intercooler producing 8.5 PSI to boost power of this 1.8 liter engine from 144 horsepower to 178 horsepower with torque of 166 ft pounds. Thats a 25% increase! From the factory!

The handling is superb and improvements include:
a 7mm lower ride height
Increased spring rates
Thicker anti-roll bars
and 17" silver alloy wheels.
Body roll is minimal amd this rear wheel drive sportscar provides 50/50 weight distribution.

This Grand Touring model sports smoked headlight lenses, leather seats, a cloth top (instead of vinyl) and a 6 speaker Bose sound system with 6 disc changher with AM/FM.

This machine cost $26,200 in 2004 which would equate to $45,000 if you put that number through an inflation calculator.

The short-throw, 6 speed shifter is direct to the transmission. No linkage or cables.

The pics show the excellent condition of the vehicle. Bilsteins all around and no rust! it has been garaged its whole life, even when it spent its winters in Hawaii.

This is an incredible automobile and it's terribly FUN to drive.
