Technician- Mt. Baker Window Cleaning Co.
Outdoor Work • Elite Team • Performance Pay • Real Growth
Let’s be real, this isn’t just a job.
Mt. Baker Window Cleaning Co. is built for people who like to work hard, be outside, take pride in their craft, and have fun doing it with a solid crew. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
Over the last four years, we’ve built one of the strongest cultures in the trades. Our team has included rock climbers, skiers, snowboarders, mountain bikers, skateboarders, and whitewater kayakers. People who enjoy physical work, pushing themselves, and showing up with good energy. That mindset has earned us thousands of five-star reviews and the best clients in the area. We don’t do average. We don’t do lazy. And we don’t do boring.
Why This Role Is Different:
We pay at the top of the industry and are moving to performance-based pay, meaning motivated technicians can absolutely crush it. We offer a 4-day work week, real training, real growth opportunities, and rewards that go beyond a paycheck like team paintball days, wakesurf days, hockey games, and a heli-ski trip in March 2026 for top performers.
The Work (Read This Carefully):
This is hands-on, physical, outdoor work. You’ll be on ladders, working at height, solving problems on real job sites, and delivering a finished product you can actually be proud of. Our best technicians enjoy staying active, learning new skills, and seeing the results of their effort at the end of each day.
If you like being outside, enjoy physical challenges, and take satisfaction in doing quality work, you’ll feel right at home here. If you’re looking for something easy, indoors, or low effort, this probably isn’t the right fit, and that’s okay.
Who Thrives Here:
The people who succeed at Mt. Baker Window Cleaning Co. bring good energy, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. They take pride in their work, show up for their teammates, and want to grow both personally and professionally. Many of our team members came in with little experience and worked their way into leadership roles through effort and attitude.
We’ve grown to be the largest exterior cleaning company in Whatcom and Skagit County. That growth creates real opportunity for people who want more than just a paycheck. There is momentum here and we’re selective about who gets to be a part of it.
Job Duties Include:
-Working on ladders and at height
-Providing top-tier customer service
-Driving company vehicles
-Window cleaning & detailing
-Pressure washing & soft washing
-Roof and gutter cleaning
-Operating lifts and safety equipment
-Holiday light installation
-Keeping trucks and shop clean
-Learning, improving, and leveling up every day
Pay & Performance:
We use performance-based pay, which means your earnings are tied to what you personally produce, not just what the truck produces. Your effort, efficiency, and quality of work directly impact your pay.
We also guarantee a minimum of $20/hour, so while you’re learning or on slower days, you’re always protected. Performance pay is the upside, not a gamble.
Our pay structure is simple and transparent:
-New Technicians: 20% of personal production
-Technicians: 22% of personal production
-Lead Technicians: 24% of personal production
-Team Captains: 26% of personal production
Example:
A technician earning 22% who personally produces $1,400 in a day earns $308 for that day, well above the hourly minimum.
As your skills and leadership grow, your percentage increases. If you’re motivated and like being rewarded for results, this pay structure works in your favor.
Final Thought:
This is a career opportunity for the right person — not just a job.
If you’re motivated, enjoy working hard, and want to be part of a team that actually gives a damn, we’d love to meet you.
