StarTouch Microwave Communications is privately-owned Internet Service and Telecommunications provider based in Bellingham, Washington, with a subsidiary based in Reno, NV.

We are seeking an individual with fabulous customer service, telephone and data entry skills to be the first line of contact (evenings/weekends) for our valued customers seeking assistance with their Internet service connection. This is an ideal position for an individual with call center experience who is also interested in growing their technology skills in an ISP environment.

Duties will primarily include:

Answering help desk telephone with a smile
Asking and answering standardized investigative questions and documenting answers in data base
Determining the next level of support that may be needed,
Forward calls as needed to level-1 or level 2 technical support
Following up with customer with results of any diagnostics performed
Following up with customers about recent installs, service calls or remote upgrades
Monitoring open trouble tickets for designated customers and escalating them for resolution within required timelines
Miscellaneous industry-related administration duties from time to time.

Wage is $15.00 per hour, with a pay increase to $17.00 after 90 days. Position is "2nd shift" and includes weekends. Hours will generally be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 3:00 p.m. until midnight and 8-4:30 Saturday and Sunday with Thursday and Friday's off. Some flexibility in hours scheduled may be needed based on the demands of the business. NOTE: First two( 2) weeks will be on onboarding/training period during the standard workweek of Monday through Friday from 8-4:30.
