This is a Display knife made by MERCURY DIME
Used - Normal age related wear

Various types and patterns of these "GIANT" knives were used back in the old days in shops and hardware windows
to show the folk's window shopping that they sold knives inside.

This knife is 8 1/2" closed, 15" open, with a 6 1/2" blade and is a Lockback knife.

Scales are multi-colored wood, and the bolsters have a nice scroll work on all 4.

Blade has printed Logo, showing both sides of a Mercury Dime.

The face of the handle has a 3D replica of a mercury dime in silvertone

This isn't one to tote around in your pocket, but makes for a unique conversation piece.
It weighs in at 1 1/2 lbs. It is totally functionable and very sharpe!
