Lilliput Lane "Edzell Summer House" Scottish Collection - $25 (Bellingham, WA)

This is a Lilliput Lane sculpture Edzell Summer and is from the Scottish Collection. It was issued in 1993 and retired in 1997. It comes in its original box and deeds. The cottage features a blooming wisteria and a fabulous turret. As with all Lilliput Lane cottages, the original house is located in Edzell near Brechin. The House was built in the early 17th century by Lord Edzell it sits on the estate of the the same name. Built of red sandstone with slate tile roofing, the house was mainly used for banquets with some sleeping accommodation.
