Lilliput Lane Cottage "Convent in the Woods" - $55 (Bellingham/Geneva area)

Lilliput Lane "Convent in the Woods"; we do not have the original box. It is from the English Collection - South West. It was issued in 1990 and was one of the original sculptures by David Tate and thus does not have a number. There is a chip on the chimney top but otherwise is in excellent condition. It is a larger piece measuring approximately 6 inches in height and 7 inches in width. Convent in the Woods is based upon a cottage just outside the grounds of Stourhead park and Gardens, Wiltshire. This rustic, fairy-tale house is situated in dense woodland. It is the embodiment of picturesque architecture, and designed to enhance large parks and gardens.
