Come out to “get your steps in” while learning how to tell the difference between canine and feline tracks through morphology and behaviorisms and all about elk in a fascinating new offering from NW Natura!
In this course we will primarily focus on two charismatic mammals: the cat(s) and the elk. We will search for and discover their signs and trails; learn to identify patterns and discuss behaviors from interpreting the sign they leave behind.
We’ll talk about whatever other tracks we find once we get our primary lesson completed. This 3-hour course will enhance your ecological awareness and give you something to look for the next time you visit the riverside.
River Walks with Northwest Natura are a wonderful way to meet new people or sign up to do something fun with your friend(s). Space is limited. Feel free to share with others you think may enjoy this outing!
