The tag actually identifies the material as paper.
Though it looks like straw and has a typical straw color.
There is a gross grain ribbon on the inside rim of the hat.
It is very soft and light weight.
There is some decorative beading along the brim tied with a jute string tied in bow.
Can flatten and stretch into a wearable state with just a little manipulation.
Great travel hat!
Does have a little wear and discoloration, though doesn't detract from the hat.
