It takes crabs a while to figure out how to get inside of a traditional crab pot. Thats why you have to leave them down so long. With a flat ring you can pull them after 15 minutes and have a load of large crabs. Great for short attention spans. Or...do you want to teach your children about marine sea life1st hand?
They will never have as much fun as catching their first crab right in front of their eyes!
Simply drop the ring from a pier or boat where you can see the bottom.
Place a little bait on the ring and watch the crabs walk right in.
The ring lies flat on the bottom and the float keeps the floating line off the bottom.
Simply lift the ring when the crabs arrive and you can give your kids a close up look at a dungeness crab.
They will love it!
