This 41.3'x11.5'x6.7' (registered dimensions) wood troller was built by Adolph Sandness in Bellingham in 1958. A distinctive hull with an elliptical stern, an above water low profile, with a relatively deep draft, contribute to making this an excellent sea boat. She has a Cummins series J-6 engine with a Capitol 4:1 gear, turning a 38" four blade bronze propeller. She goes thru the water a little faster than most wood plank boat peers. Fuel capacity is 450 gallons below deck and 100 gallons, in two tanks, on the back deck. Fuel consumption is 1-2 gallons/hour.
The boat fishes very well. The Oregon and California troll permits are included in the sale. An extensive inventory of fishing gear (salmon, tuna and rockfish) and equipment is included.
All required safety gear is included. Liferaft, Epirb, throw ring, life jackets, survival suit and flares. Also two unrequired but, in my mind, necessary safety items: horn and 100lb Forfjord anchor with a Kolstrand anchor winch.
The electronics include: Furuno 1815 Radar, Furuno FCV-295 Sounder, Furuno, GP-31 GPS, Com Nav 1001 Autopilot, Icom 2m Radio, Icom IC-M4246 VHF, Ranger CB, Xantrex Prowatt SW Inverter, Dual Stereo/Radio, 14"Lenovo Laptop with Nobeltech Nav Program.
Wheelhouse gear: Dickinson Adriatic diesel stove and stainless steel sink with electric pump.
