A Lyle Hess design the BCC is famous for its sea worthiness and beauty. This one was built in Costa Mesa in 1979 and finished by a boat wright with a bespoke wood interior before sailing off to New Zealand. Named Avei’a she can be found in Ferenc Mate’s book 10 Best Boats to Build or Buy. Currently she is on a road worthy trailer that could transport her anywhere in North America. She needs a rig and sails. Her exterior needs paint varnish and love. All her original bronze components are intact. Her interior is in excellent shape (with no cushions). The Yanmar diesel has been prepped by a marine mechanic and run smoothly.
I will sell the BCC separately for $25,000, to buy the boat and the trailer the price would be $32,500
