Rare Canadian built 1972 Cal 29 sailboat with Bellingham Marina slip - $8,500 (Bellingham)

This is my favorite boat I have ever sailed, she sails like a rocket but feels like an impenetrable tank. They don’t make boats like this anymore! One of the rare Vancouver, BC built Cal 29s, which means the fiberglass was overbuilt and layed by hand ++++
Moored in at Squalicum with 1 year transferable slip (if ya know you know this is worth its weight in gold alone…). I was able to get a permanent slip after my transfer period from then previous owners.
We took this boat on trips all around the islands and she served me very well for 3 years. Unfortunately my partner passed away and I am not able to maintain the boat on my own.
Previous owners for the 10 years before me were Antarctic sailors/ scientists who took amazing care of the boat as well and made many great upgrades.
Liveaboard ready, with all you need to live a sailors dream affordably and comfortably.
-Original Atomic 4- runs beautifully, has had regular maintenance. I have preferred having a gas engine- gas is cheaper and smells less!
-Auxiliary Mercury 9.9 sail-drive outboard- ran when purchased but needs serviced
-Jib and main-good condition
-Genoa needs repaired or replaced
-Jeniker sail and pole
Inside: Cal 29s are revered for there design/ ability to host a large crew for its length.
-Sleeps and sits up to 6
-Large V-berth (8 inch memory foam mattress with ventilation system underneath)
-Two aft single cabins
-Table/settee transforms into a double bed
Right now I have non-custom custom cushions in place and the 1972 cushions were retired.
-Propane full oven, 3 burner stove (fully operational during my time with her, just purchased new propane line for replacement)
-Propane heater- worked at one point, ignition needs replaced
-Foot pump deep sink (foot pump replaced recently)
-Electric ice box fridge (works very well!)
-Newer head and manual pump (replaced fully 2 years ago)
-5 gallon black water holding tank
-20 gallon fresh water aluminum holding tank
-Anchor windlass
-Rolling furling
-Great shape anchor chain and line
-Oversized anchor (and extra anchors)
-Running lights operational
-Full stainless steel lifelines around boat with gates.
-AIS equipped
-Fixed radio and handheld
-Garmin GPS with depth sounder
-Tachometer (one wire needs fixed then back in action)
