I have a 1975 Carina 19ft fiberglass boat with a mercruiser 888 ford 302 engine with a 2 barrel carburetor. Outdrive is an alpha 1 gen 1completely rebuilt upper and lower unit. New impeller, water pump, oil seals and fluids. Boat runs like a top. 2 bow Bimony top with part of it just replaced with new sunbrella material. Has a full morring cover. Custom mahogany swim platform / cooler holder. Inside is completely redone with new fiberglass work, new seats and new indoor/ outdoor carpet, rod holders molded into the fiberglass hull, scotty downrigger mounts, scotty rod holders, vhf radio, am/fm cd player w 4 speakers, Garmin 440 color GPS depthfinder w transducer. I started working on this boat but had some issues come up and am no longer able to use or keep it. The boat is winterized right now, but it does fully function and runs very well. It'll take you all over the islands fishing ,crabbing, shrimping, camping, lakes, water skiing. ...whatever your pleasure.
I also have an entire other engine and all the parts minus another outdrive for it. All the parts are the exact same and will bolt right up should any part fail, or if you just feel the need to make some money. The spare engine was used in freshwater only it's whole life. All the parts are the exact same for a ford 302, and Chevrolet 351. So the exhaust manifolds both port and starboard have never seen saltwater, ( they sell new for 1,500$. Used I've seen them sell on ebay for between 600-800$ all day. With this deal, you have 4 of them. Plus the risers, elbows, entire gimbal assembly, oil pump for the hydraulic system on the outdrive. You get 2 sets of everything. Keep the boat, run it and use it and sell the parts from the other. Sell all the parts and make some good money, look at eBay, these parts sell often, and for good money. Their desirable and fit a wide range of boats. Whatever you want it could all be yours. I can't do the work of removing the parts and accessories and selling them due to a recent surgery. So my loss is your gain. The only downside to the boat is that the trailer is steel. And has quite a bit of rust on it. I'd say that it still has some good years left in it,at least 5. But it does have some good amount of rust. And the second engine is in my storage container, and I have no way of lifting it out of there. So, you'd have to be able to pick it up somehow. I'd say a sheet of osb plywood and a cherry picker would get the job done. You can rent one if you don't own one. I'm listing the boat for 3400$ ,if you sold the manifolds and risers, possibly the gimbal assembly you could get all your money back easy. The outdrive alone will sell for a minimum of 800$ being rebuilt. Like I said, the boat is still winterized right now. But trust me, she runs really well. If you want the boat and a spare engine with all the same exact parts all in working order and want or need to see it run we can discuss that. The fuel tank was drained cause I knew it would be some time before I was able to use it again, evidently that time will be never. Had a friend use a 6 gallon external tank to run it while it was being winterized....it'll come with the boat. ( To make her start I'd just have to charge the dual batteries, I'm positive it would fire right up)
The last image is of a tree fall and wind damage to the top ,that I had fixed!.
The yamaha kicker is NOT...I repeat NOT for sale in that price and deal. Just the boat and the spare engine and parts. If your interested in the kicker, we can discuss it. I'd be asking probably 800$. It has a new water pump, impeller , throttle cables, and an after market charging system on it. Cause why run a kicker if it's not going to charge your batteries?!?
This is a great deal, even if you just wanted to make some money online by turning a wrench and making a few posts. Even if you never took the boat for a spin, there's money to be made here.
