The three inch wide 26" tires hit the sweet spot between cushy ride and rolling drag, 500 watt mid drive, drum brakes and three speed gearhub are practical and low maintenance, dropper seat post gives you a range of riding positions in seconds. Big, bright headlight, a thirty mile range, over 25mph top speed. Drum brakes that will probably never need new shoes ( unlike disk brakes) heavy duty single speed chain, fenders (only rear fitted , but second fender comes with bike)
Tuned up springer fork eats bumps, wide, sprung "tractor seat" saddle does the same at the rear. Waxed canvas front bag holds a can of automotive flat fix/inflate, and tires have a dose of "Slime" flat prevention liquid.
I've had this a few years (second owner) and I've enjoyed it a lot, put less than 300 miles on it. I've babied the battery (storing at 75% charge, and only fully charging when headed out for a ride ) Battery is generic, and easy to replace if it's ever necessary, as is the Bafang BBSO2 mid drive ( unlike the proprietary battery and motor fitted to most new e-bikes) So there are many years and miles left in this bike.
I just bought another e-bike that's even more vintage looking, so I need to find this one a good new home.
