Set up for bike packing with custom PackNW frame bag (Bellingham local), extended range cassette. You can ride the 29er tires aired up for gravel or road or let them down to almost nothing to ride over anything. This bike is a joy I just don’t ride it as much anymore.
I’ve got a Surly rack on the back that’s especially made for disc brakes and big tires with a fancy Salsa seat post clamp connection. This makes a great shelf to pile up camping gear on or else use paniers for town riding.
The frame bag is roomy and makes use of the whole triangle. You can fit two large water bottles or fill it with anything you want easy access too.
I’ve got a short stem on there for my short arms :) but I think I’ve got the original if you’re interested.
This bike is great as is or convert it to a 1x11 with hydraulic disc brakes and you’d be unstoppable;)
