This much-heralded Ridge 2.0 was a project bike I built last Summer which started as an Ozark Trail Ridge 2.0. The Ridge has been the subject of many positive YouTube reviews from mountain biking sites such as Berm Peak and Kev Central (Search Ozark Trail Ridge on either site). The bike is known for it’s advance and sturdy frame, internally routed cabling, tapered head tube, and 29” tires. The bike has been heavily modified and upgraded with high-quality parts including Magura Brakes, RockShox, PNW Bike Accessories, RaceFace, and much more. The Derailleur is a MicroSHIFt Acolyte 9 speed transmission with clutch. The bike and upgrades would cost over $1,600 to duplicate today, and competitively places the bike in the $3,000 MTB category with the likes of Trek, Specialized, and Canyon. The bike was a “project” for a senior adult who wanted to get back into biking. The bike has only been ridden very little, and only on urban gravel/asphalt trails. The bike has been stored in an indoors storage locker, and is ready to go shreddin’. A list of the upgrades and physical specs is as follows:
