With this european-style box bike, you will be the envy of the entire town! I think this is the only one of this type in Bellingham. The model is 2021 Ferla Inspire. To buy it new would be $3900 (on sale) plus $300 assembly, and this includes $500+ of extras. Here’s the manufacturer website for more details: https://ferlafamilybikes.com/products/ferla-cargo-bike-inspire
It has 7 gears and a 250W electric motor which is more than enough on flat terrain and can help you get up most hills in town, if you take it slow. It has room and seatbelts for 4 kids, or you can also carry an adult and maybe a kid or two at the same time. The box has a rated capacity of 250lbs! Kids love it, and as the rider you’ll appreciate the stability of the tricycle form, and the visibility of watching the kids in front instead of having them behind you where you can’t see them.
I’ve only ridden this around for fun over the last few years, and only have 370 miles on it (odometer shows 595km, I never figured out how to change the display to miles!)
It’s in great working condition, and has been serviced at Earl’s Bike Shop who are the local cargo bike experts in Bellingham. There is some cosmetic wear and tear around the edges of the box, mainly just small bits of chipped paint.

The “roll bars” are removable, and there are two optional crossbars but those are missing screws for attaching them. But I’ve never needed them.
I have the bike's serial number registered on Project 529 and Bike Index, and will transfer the registration upon sale.
