Looking for a dream bikepacking rig or a lightweight cross-country weapon? This stunning white hardtail, built by Form Cycles in Sedona, is ready for adventure.

Key Features:

Criss king hubs. and headset.

Crafted from Reynolds 925 stainless steel: Incredibly lightweight with a high strength-to-weight ratio, possibly the highest of steel.

I installed a Reynolds dropper, which are kind of annoying to get a hold of in 27.2. Its pretty rad, still pops with weight in the bootie bag. I replaced the left derailluer. see below.

Perfect for bikepacking: This bike begs to be loaded up and taken on epic journeys. See pics. I can part with my Nemo pole tent ($50) and Panda Designs rear bag ($50) if this is your intent.
Conquers singletrack: Used the trails at Galbraith for a couple seasons and it was really ideal on a trip to the Olympic Hot Springs.

I don't know if you could really build a capable XC bike any lighter.

Details:

Brand: Form Cycles (Sedona)
Material: Reynolds 925 Stainless Steel
Color: White
Usage: Well-maintained, ridden for 2 seasons on Galbraith, recently completed a successful Olympic Hot Springs bikepacking trip.

10 speed in the back with an interesting 2 speed up front. I call it manual front derailleur: It has a Narrow-Wide 30T as the High, which works for all bike scenarios when riding without weight (and also doesn't drop the chain when descending, and also you can't derrailluer off of a narrow wide, hence the no derailleur) . and then you have to manually put it on the small granny gear front gear. This only happens when you are weighed down bikepacking. This system was extremely functional each time I've used the bike. You just have to move the chain over with your hand before you climb with weight, or decent. The beautiful thing about the granny gear is that it goes literally slower than walking in the lowest part of the range. So then you just pedal and balance and you can get up some kinda crazy stuff - while your friends are walking their bikes.

Condition:

This thing is a little used, but things are in workable condition. Minor cosmetic wear from regular riding, but mechanically sound and ready to hit the trails.

I have had this for probably 6 years or more. I never wanted to sell it just because it is kind of timeless.

Price negotiable.

Size: Large

I am 6'0 and I would say I am on the large side of fitting this bike. It is more of a medium-large. It is really an adaptable middle range, I have had many many friends borrow this while visiting.
